Therapeutic Drum Circles

Something that makes me really happy, is providing djembe drums for students. 

I've been learning about the therapeutic benefits of drum circles, especially,

the huge positive impact on kids who have to deal with socio-economic adversity. 

I donate to Newark, NJ public schools, because it's the largest public school district in my state, 

and where a vast majority of students qualify for free or reduced lunch. 

So far, I've been able to provide drums for use by 500 students! 

I'm also creating drum circle curriculum for K-12 students. 

Anyone can learn to be a drum circle leader/ facilitator! Hopefully, my guidebook can help.

As I learn more about drum circles, I'm enjoying leading them with the local children I volunteer with. We have a lot of fun, just being in the moment all together.
